Meet Judy
My twenty years as a Naval Officer and Nurse afforded me the wonderful opportunity to travel the globe and truly see the world through my camera lens. Whether it was pictures of the volcano in the Philippine Islands, or the incredibly beautiful fog-bound Oregon coast, I was in constant pursuit of the “perfect picture”.
As a native New Englander, I happily returned to Northern New England after I retired from the service in 1990, taking the helm of a large and extremely active Emergency Department for 13 years. During those years I transitioned from film to digital photography. The new digital SLR cameras afforded me new opportunities and challenges. I loved eliminating the “middle man” to whom I had relinquished my canister of exposed film, hoping that the end result was truly what I had seen through my lens. Now the ability to develop my own pictures was at my fingertips.
Please enjoy my website gallery! I am continually adding new photos, so check in to see what is new and different. I so enjoy my ability to pursue photography as my new avocation. I would love to hear your comments about my work. The connection that people make with my photos is always one of the best parts of this new adventure.
