I woke at dawn as the heavy snow overnight was beginning to wind down. While making coffee I noticed 2 large mounds in the snow in the woods. As I trained my camera on the "mounds" I could see that they were actually 2 deer completely covered in snow. One stood up as I got ready to photograph them.
